Hi, thank you for checking out our new website! It has been two-weeks since our launch and it seems like a good time to share some questions and comments.
Questions:
• Do I have to login to use your new website? NO, you are free to browse wherever you like as a guest, there are some good reasons to login, those are discussed later.
• Do I have to login to make a purchase? YES, there was functionality that allowed ‘guests’ to check out; that has been fixed. To collect billing and shipping info as well as to keep track of your streaming and supply purchases you DO need to login. If you were a user on the old site, WELCOME BACK please follow the steps to reset your password; if you are new user then WELCOME please take an opportunity to create a username and login. **
• Why should I create a login, I don’t want to buy anything? Creating a login allows you to register for the AWA as a General Member [no cost to you]; this is new to our website and provides you access to some cool freebies and lets you see areas of the site that are only accessible to our members.
• What’s different on the store? We are now able to calculate shipping at the time you place your order. The new website also lets you ‘store’ your credit card information to use again on our site. Our new website also keeps track of all your streaming videos and previous purchases so you can view them at any time.
• What kinds of things can I expect on the new site? We have new communication tools [Blogs, Forums, Askadermy and a contact us form] as well as new service offerings, [Consulting, Education and Guest Workshops] and of course all the products we use at Anglers Artistry, remember if we don’t use it, we don’t sell it!
• What happened to the COOL FISH PHOTO CONTEST? During launch we were not collecting photos. There is a new form to fill out to ENTER the CFPC and a small change in practice. Photos collected NOW are for our MAY contest, we will be holding all photos [subject to approval] until the 1st of MAY? This is being done to even the playing ground, since people can submit them at any time, we want people to have as much time to cast votes, we hope you participate and VOTE as we re-launch in MAY 2025!
.**If you ordered on the new-site, please login to make sure you see your order[s] if not, please contact me at 603-336-7296.
