This increasable Fish Artist was born in Montreal in 1955, Yves Laurent is a fishcarver who is an man who loves to spend his free time in the country, enjoying the woods or fishing. As a lifelong nature enthusiast, Yves acquired his knowledge of sculpturing and woodwork through trial and error. A natural eye for detail led him to start manufacturing hunting decoys, which eventually evolved into sculptures. He is entirely self-taught and perfected his technique by experimenting with different mediums.

Yves enjoys participating in art exhibitions across both Canada and the United States. He has won numerous major awards and distinctions for his work. His love of carving fish, in particular, has lead to numerous Accolades and has made him one of the most recognized carvers in All of Canada. Many of his works are found in private collections in Canada, Europe, and the United States. Yves has become a featured artist of Anglers Artistry family of world class Artesian!

These creations are hand-carved in different woods such as white cedar, red cedar, tupelo or basswood and painted entirely by myself with a brush or an airbrush. In the game calls pages you will find unique pieces hand turned and meticulously finished with appropriate resistant varnishes. They require little or no maintenance and will not react to temperature differences if properly maintained. These calls are usually available on request. Typically, all these pieces are collectors items and are already sold.
